Those senior moments you will always miss!
About a year and a half ago my BD asked me to customize new drums (snares,tenors,basses) for the line so that way when he ordered them he would know what to buy. So I put together several choices depending on color and themes.
Today, I walk into the Band hall to see the delivery guy unloading several items from a truck….
I about cried when i saw MY drums I designed being placed in the room!
Why couldnt we have gotten them a year ago that way i could have marched with them!!! :(
Oh well! Im extremely happy for the new line and glad i could leave something behind to remind them of their favorite captain! :D
Whoo Hoo!
Yay! Our school never plays for the basketball games…..but this year, since our team is doing AMAZING we are getting to have a small “pep band” which means…I GET MORE TIME TO PLAY TENORS!!!! :D
